Week 2-Day 4 of Camp

Hello! We hope you are well! So far our week has proved to be good! The kids at the new school are a bit more quiet and reserved than the week before. Perhaps this is because the last time we were at this school was three years ago. Today we finished day four and we are all looking forward to tomorrow.
Our Team of Americans & Ukrainians
Our team members are making headway in their classes. It is so neat to sit and listen to the different conversations taking place in each class. Yesterday in Pastor James’ class (the oldest group) the students were talking about repentance and people having their lives changed. In Wendy’s class they discussed how God changes us when we come to know Him. In Lori and Lisi’s class (the youngest group of students) they talked about how Jesus loves the little children. All of our team members have been so well prepared with hands on activities and really had a desire to make relationships with their students.

And now she is perfectly fine. She is quite the mystery.
This year our theme was "Living in Love"

Today we kept Will at the school with us for most of the day and he did great! He really likes being their and being around all of the kiddos!
On Tuesday night we put on an “American Night” for our Ukrainian friends! We made them chicken fajitas, rice, corn bread, salad, orange jello, and coke floats. After dinner we had a dance party out in the front where we showed them the hokey pokey, Macarena, cupid shuffle, the chicken dance and we learned a few dance moves to the Rumba and swing dancing. We also taught them how to play the game Ninja! At the very end we put on a few skits for and showed them a cardboard testimony. We also passed out gifts to thank them for all of the help they have been to us!

Tonight our Ukrainian brothers and sisters put on a Ukrainian night filled with traditional Ukrainian food, Ukrainian trivia and dancing and at the end a great video with each one stating the things they were thankful for and enjoyed about the Americans. It was very sweet and thoughtful!

Pray for our team as we enter our last day of camp tomorrow!
