Final Days In Hungary

Friday we finished our last day of camp! It was sad to say goodbye to all of the friends we made but we look forward to the possibility of coming back again next year. This week has proved to be a tiring week of loving and serving each other and our students. Teaching is not for the faint of heart and working with a translator definitely adds in some complexity. We are so thankful to our translators and school workers for working so hard and dedicating their time to help us!
To end the day on Friday each class presented a drama. This is a great opportunity for the children to show off their English skills. The English skills at this school are amazing! These students speak so well! Our Hungarian coworkers surprised us with bringing an ice cream truck to the school on Friday after lunch!
After camp on Friday we headed out of Oroshaza by train back to Budapest. We arrived around 8 PM and were pretty tired! Our week has been so busy with a small amount of free time. Saturday morning we had team debriefing in the morning and spent the rest of the day strolling around town, sightseeing, finishing up some souvenir shopping and getting rested up for the big day of travel ahead.
We sent the team off in a taxi at 3:45 a.m. this morning! Most people were flying to Frankfurt together and then going separate ways from there!

We really enjoyed serving side by side with each of our team members. This has been a great group of people to serve with! Through the speed bumps and fatigue people stayed positive and flexible. It has been a joy to see people grow through this mission trip and we wouldn’t be surprised if some of them decide to come back again.

Praise God For:
A great week at camp!
A team that worked so well together!
Wonderful Hungarian hosts!

Please Pray For:
The seeds that were planted in the hearts of the children.
For the relationships made with our translators and Hungarian Coworkers
